Is Your Building Compliant?

ERRCS are becoming increasingly mandatory. Stringent, ongoing regulations like NFPA 1225 and IFC 510 require these systems in many buildings, with deadlines for compliance extending through 2026–2027 in various jurisdictions. NICET IB-PSC certifications are the industry standard, with most jurisdictions requiring a minimum Level II certification. CSLS technicians meet and exceed this requirement.

  • Mandatory Requirements: NFPA 1225 and IFC Section 510 dictate that buildings must have adequate in-building radio coverage.
  • Deadlines: Many jurisdictions have set strict deadlines for compliance, requiring tests and potential upgrades for many buildings. CSLS helps our clients navigate these requirements.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: ERRCS systems are not “set-and-forget”; they require annual testing and 5-year recertification to ensure functionality.
  • Future-Proofing: Systems are being updated to be more flexible, supporting new technologies and frequencies to ensure they remain relevant.
